Evidence of God
For as long as I can remember I have felt the call of the Lord on my life to travel the world and serve Him. This year He has given me the amazing opportunity to fulfill that dream. The World Race is an opportunity to travel to 11 countries around the world while ministering the incredible love of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I leave June 29, 2008 and return to the US at the end of May 2009.
This blog will be a sort of online journal to give updates on the ministries that I am involved with as well as, on a personal level, how the Lord is changing me. One thing that the Lord has been challenging me with this season of life is to see Him as my Father. This means to me that He would be my protector, provider and “coach.”
With traveling around the world to many third world countries there will be many opportunities to see the Lord as my protector. In terms of provider, I have already begun to see the Lord’s incredible provision just with financing this trip. When I think of a coach, I think of an encourager and strategizer. One who is showing you how to go about life in the best way and is right there to encourage you all the way through. The cool thing about God is that He doesn’t just stay on the side lines, but meets you on the field with His powerful hand of blessing.
My hope and prayer is that this blog will be filled with evidence of such blessing. I want to see God move in power not only in my life, but also in the lives around me. I hope (hope: confident expectation) to have so many stories of God’s supernatural protection, provision and coaching that I will not have enough time to write them all down! I pray that this blog would be an encouragement to you and help you to know the steadfast, unchanging goodness of the Lord.
