This year I saw the world in all new colors. Yes I saw brokenness, poverty, and injustice. But I also saw beauty, kindness, generosity, and joy. I met people who had nothing but gave everything. I saw people who had suffered through so much but still had faith that could move mountains. I saw joy in a child’s smile when I washed the dirt off their hands at a refugee camp. I saw the world in all its beauty and brokenness. I also saw Jesus in every corner of the nations. I saw the skies painted with his glory. The world is big and vast. But my creator is alive and working in every part of it. My creator is BIGGER and without a doubt ALIVE.
I can’t believe my time on the World Race is coming to an end. I am grieving all the goodbye I have had to say. All the brokenness I have seen. I am grieving leaving my new family and the sisters I have made. Yes, the World Race is almost over. But the impact and change that has occurred in my life with last forever. I am coming home changed. I’m coming home carrying a piece of every country, every person, every child I held in my arms. My eyes have been opened to the world. I have expirenced goodness of the Father.
Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible. Your support has helped bring so much change to places spread all across the world. Change that will continue to impact generations to come.
