My wonderful roommate Rachel and I had a fundraising event on Saturday! We did an event called Pay the Pizza!! We hosted a pizza party at our house and asked guests to reimburse us individually; therefore asking each person to pay the full price of the pizzas for dinner. This was in no way a requirement and we spent the night talking with friends, making new ones, and playing games. We are both one step closer to our goals and what God has planned for us.
Rachel is not going on the World Race. She has been blessed in a different way and will be working in Thailand for 5 months (starting in January like me!!). She will be working for a business based on christian morals. The business, built by Youth With A Mission (YWAM), hires locals and missionaries and shows Gods love through better working conditions and benefits.

ALSO 11/11 is World Race Day!! Because racers travel to 11 countries in 11 months (In case you were wondering WHY the date was 11/11).
