I’ve been calling the fund raising letters “Fund-letters” but when I speak it sounds more like I’m saying “FUN.” So I’m gonna run with it. From now on they will be called FunLetters! The Funletters are suppose to be sent to 100-200 people, that we really know or kinda know, with information about our trip, ourselves, and to ask for help.
Every night after work I log into adventures.org and read about the trip. recently I’ve put off some reading because I’m a few steps behind anyway, that’s what happens when you join 3.5 months before the race. Anyway, when I’m not reading I’m mostly working on the Funletters, making a list of who to send them to, typing them up, sending them to friends to edit, waiting for said friends to finally get back to you, stuff like that.
So the past few nights I’ve been printing them. Its a bit of a pain because I have three things I have to print separately and my printer does not understand when I want 2+ copies of something. But I’ve got about 10 ready to go and I’m sending them tomorrow. I am very happy with them and so excited to tell people what my blog is and how to access it (to the 5 people who have seen my blog, how did you find it? is it linked somewhere?).
