Well I don’t have a formal blog to post this week but here is a list of some of the things that have happened:

Taught self-esteem classes in a local high school where we spoke for an hour in each class, did a skit, sang, gave our testimonies
Danced in a prison with some of the residents
Caused a riot in a classroom-they didn’t want us to leave so they began shouting and one boy picked up a desk and began banging it up against the wall, not phasing the teachers
Played soccer in a skirt and some random womans shoes that were four sizes to big
Went to the bathroom in a very questionable restroom at the school
Ate some DELICIOUS street food that we were advised against eating
Made the local news by holding signs on a street corner that said, Jesus loves you, You are loved, Make a joyful noise etc.
Passed out candy to the passing cars and played the guitar
Began to REALLY miss warm showers
Finally was healed from a never-ending flu that was not fun to battle in a hot tent
Had a dance party on our bus ride home from ministry
Put on a party in a local community
Officially moved my tent outside to a somewhat less noisy location
Almost finished the entire series of Lost
Did my laundry in a bucket of brown water
Memorized the entire Proverbs 31
Met a 12-year-old girl named Kinberlin in a juvenile detention center who told me her one dream in life was to be with her family again
Successfully survived 292 days on the race and there’s only 36 days until I’m back in the good’ol United States of America!
