If you have been reading my blogs you have heard me reference debriefs, LDW’s and maybe even an awakening. I am going to explain a little about what those mysterious things are.

Debrief: Fairly self explanatory. They are sections of time, usually a few days, set aside between countries to process your journey and rest. These are the times when our wonderful Squad Mentor, Beka Hardy, and Coaches, Toni and Kerry Hellums, fly out to join us. We have breakouts on any variety of topics ranging from inner healing, spiritual discipline, spiritual warfare, spiritual gifts, etc. We also have a lot of down time to spend with the Lord, squad leadership and with other members of our squad processing through our journey. Beka, the Hellums’ and our squad leaders are all there to help us if need be. This is also the time when team changes can happen. As is works out this month we ARE having team changes. (*cue mild panic attack*)

This will be our second Debrief. We had one between India and Nepal.

LDW: Stands for Leadership Development Weekend. This is a little shorter time frame, only 2 days between countries. It is like a mini debrief. There aren’t as many break outs and our mentor and coaches are not there. This is a time to allow other members on the squad to step into leadership in ways they haven’t before.

We had our first one before coming to Cambodia.

Awakening: Ummmmm…..I don’t really know. I’ll let you know when I find out. What I do know is that multiple squads are coming together for a couple of days. There will be worship and other leadership members from AIM. I am STOKED!! S squad (my squad), I squad (launched in August) and O squad (launched in October) will be in Siem Reap together bringing Kingdom!

This will be our first.

Until next time, Gig’em and God Bless!
