Last month in Thailand was amazing. Not only were there tigers, movies, wonderful food and a military coup but we worked with the ministry Lighthouse In Action, which among many things, works to get girls (who are many times forced into the sex trade) out of the bars where they work.
Ministry this month was a great mix of being about to use my gifts to help LIA (getting to work on the website and marketing for their “She’s Worth More” campaign) and being stretched (going into the bars and loving on the bar girls there).
I learned so much this past month. I am growing in having confidence knowing when God speaks to me. I am learning who I am and what I am worth in the Father’s eyes. I am learning to trust that the things I desperately pray for are being or will be answered.
I loved Thailand and am ready for more growth and adventure. Bring it Cambodia.
