It’s so hard to believe training camp has come to an end, and it’s only 7 weeks until launch!!! God has provided and has shown up in so many ways already, and I know He has some big things in store for my squad as we begin this kingdom journey. I can’t possibly cover everything that happened at training camp in one post, so this is an intro to my people and ways to specifically pray for them. Meet my team!!!
Courtney Andexler
Courtney is from Chicago, Illinois. She loves any and all things art and sees beauty in all things God has made! She has an incredible story to share about what God has done in her life – she is a WARRIOR!
Prayer Request: “Please pray that the Lord would be able to speak through me so that I can be a witness to my family. Also, that he will be able to grow, stretch, and change me in ways that I didn’t know that I needed to grow in. And when the storms come that I will be able to beat the odds and stand firm in his promises without wavering.”
Sydney East
A fellow southerner and small town girl, this girl has a heart of pure joy! She’s from Graham, Texas, and you’ll more than likely find her somewhere laughing or making someone else laugh! She is never afraid to step up or step out in faith!
Prayer Request: “Please pray for God to prepare me for the cultural changes and for my heart and for me to be willing to allow God to change me.”
Braiden Chamelin
Also from Texas, this girl has a contagious smile that lights up any room, and she is always ready to extend grace and a helping hand!
Prayer Request: “My prayer request for the race is that i will always be joyful in the hard times! I want to always have perseverance in everything i do!”
Claire “Bear” Marie Hilton
Claire is from the state with oh so many people – South Dakota! She is so motherly and always makes sure everyone is taken care of and has everything they need before herself.
Prayer Request: “Please pray that I’m able to grow closer to God and create a deeper relationship with Him so I can better share His love.”
Anna Penterman
Anna is our rockstar from Colorado! She is always willing to do whatever to help out and is so full of life. She’s listens to and cares for everyone so well!
Prayer Request: “Please pray that God would help me lay down fears. And that I would learn how to surrender to him and live humbly. And that we would get to see God move in awesome ways. That I would be able to look to God for everything and live from that place.”
Cammy Thompson
Cammy is our true Georgia peach (even though she’s originally from New Jersey). She has a gentle, quiet spirit that is absolutely to be praised. Oh, and fun fact: she’s a twin!!!
Prayer Request: “Please pray that my heart will be open to love people fully. And to be willing to do whatever God calls me to in life!”
Emma Briner
Emma is from Columbia, Missouri! She is a naturally strong leader, and she is always careful to choose words of life, encouragement, and wisdom from The Father!
Prayer Request: “Please pray that I can overflow with Gods joy, and walk in complete confidence of my inheritance in Christ! That I have the freedom and permission to spread the good news and be lead by the Holy Spirit!! And to be an encouragement to those around me no matter the hard times!”
Please be in prayer for these sweet sisters of mine as we do life together these next nine months! Also, please be in prayer for my entire squad – SQUAD R!!! There are 38 of us that will all be traveling together and going to the same countries. I love each one of them dearly already, but this post might possibly be too long if I tried to tell you about each of them individually. To sum them all up, they are all INCREDIBLE people with such amazing stories and beautiful hearts to serve The Lord! We are rooftop dwellers, men and women of honor, and we are a TRIBE!!!
