So for me, what does it look like to be bold? To live a life boldly?
8 months later and I still wouldn’t be able to give you a perfect answer. The more and more I think about it, the more and more I question if I’ve actually stepped out in boldness or just taken steps back, if I’ve grown or if I’ve just been stagnant, if I’ve loved the Lord and others well or not. The list could go on forever.
But if you came up to me right now and asked me that question, here’s what I would say:
You don’t need anything special to be Bold. It’s in you, it might not feel like it but trust me it’s in there you just have to pry it out. To live boldly is to speak up, look up, and see what you have. To take action when your heart beats a little harder. To speak up when you’re hurt, scared, stuck, or when life is just fine and dandy. To let people in and the Lord in (the hardest of all). To step out in your faith, to commit to the yes and stick to it. To love yourself and others deeply and loudly. To not be afraid. To live boldly is to choose to step over the fear and do what you know is right and do what the Lord is telling you. to be bold is to live freely.
