NEPAL!!!
Nepal is a country with God's beauty shining all around it!  The tallest mountain in the world is located here, the rivers that run through here are powerful and mighty, the land is fertile and vibrant.  But the people here are in darkness, with mostly HIndu culture in the mountain villages, our goal was to speak truth into the people here, to share love with them and to take in the glory of God's wonder! So here is what my month in Nepal looked like!

Mt. Everest is the tallest one on the left!!

Our Lifestyle

This is our front yard, the open door is our bedroom, the other door is our dining area which was also where our contact and translator slept.

This is where the five of us girls slept for the month

This is the "village" that we lived in, Kothe.  There were only about 10 houses/shops, people live in parts of their shops.

This is my team with Thanksgiving dinner, we killed two chickens, made mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans and fried apples.  Such a wonderful day to be thankful for our team and for God's provisions.

Our Ministry

Everyday we hiked at minimun 2 hours, handing out tracts, greeting people that had never heard of Christ or seen white people and sharing the gospel from the VERY beginning, no Christianese allowed!

We prayed for people to be healed, we prayed for people to know Christ, sometimes we even prayed for water buffaloe! Our "father" for the month Pastor Tara is the man praying over the two with glasses.

We went to schools to sing songs, share Bible stories, perform dramas and play games.  We loved on the kids and shared with them the beauty they are in Christ's eyes.  This group of girls was repeating everything I said, so of course we made some declarations such as: "I am beautiful", "I am worthy", "I have words to speak", "I am a daughter of Jesus Christ."  Our words are powerful and even if they don't understand them, they were spoken over them.

Our Team

Team Perisseuo has had a wonderful three months together.  We grew extremely deep this month and were able to push each other even further into Christ's character.  This month is the end of Team Perisseuo, we have been distributed onto new teams, but we will always be family.  I love them, I care for them, I know them.  So I'm thankful for these three months and for how God is going to shape us as we are apart.  My next blog will introduce you to my new team!

Photo credit for these go to my amazing teammate and sister Brianna Danese, she's a champ!
