Hey Everyone!
Can you believe that it's month #5 of the World Race?? Only a few more weeks until I am 1/2 way finished and I still have a hard time believing this is my life at times. So much has happened in the last four months, I've heard over a hundred people pray the sinners prayer, I've seen people healed from body pains, I've seen people at home growing and responding from the blogs I've written, I've learned the worth that God has placed in me and the power He has given me to speak with, I've loved a group of 6 people, been split from them and am now learning to love a new group of people. God has done a lot of work through me in just 4 months and with 7 left to go, I can't even imagine what else He has in store.
I can tell you however that we have finally arrived in
AFRICA!!
This is the season of the trip that everyone has been looking forward to/ dreading the most. According to all my squadmates, in Africa there is absolutely NO food, water, electricity, transportation, ANYTHING!! I think everyone was a little dramatic for Africa, but these are the months we've all been waiting for with anticipation and a little bit of fear. Turns out Africa is amazing!! Not only do we have food and water and electricity, but we live in a pretty decent city with an amazing view right on Lake Victoria. We aren't entirely sure what our ministry this month is going to look like, but it includes a lot of free time at this point.
So one thing we are doing here is figuring out our goals for what we want this month to look like, here are some of mine:
*See atleast one person come to Christ and passionately pursue Him
*Be fully funded by the end of this month (Feb. 1st)
*Have a prophetic dream and interpret someone speaking in tongues
*Learn Swahili conversationally
I know that all these goals are possible of being reached and I have full confidence that they will be, so join me in prayer for these and please join me in support! Love you and miss you all!!
