Hey guys quick announcement!! I leave for my 9 month adventure in 9 days, woohoo! I need $16,600 to be fully funded and as of now we have raised $12,960! I only have $3,640 left to raise in order to be fully funded! I believe we can do it!

Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated, prayed, and supported me throughout this journey so far. BUT guess what? The fun part hasn’t even started yet! I can’t wait to be fully funded, fully equip with God’s strength, and fully ready to receive everything God is about to throw my way! Love you guys

I was recently on a cruise with my family, which was so fun and such a blessing! Every night you had the option to go to a fancier dinner. You have a designated table for the whole trip as well as a waiter who stays with your table. Throughout the cruise my mind was full of to do’s for the race, so many emotions, and some fears. I wanted the trip to be stress free and a time to relax with my family before I left. My biggest prayer was that my nerves would be calm and an understand that everything was going to be okay. I felt like I needed some more conformation and you know the lord loves to show us grace. We went to our dinner spot and met our waitress, her name was Nongkran! She was the sweetest most hard working woman I had see in a while. Throughout the trip we went back to dinner a couple times so we began to really have conversation with her, we became friends. On the last night I ordered an appetizer of chicken nuggets thinking they would be normal, crispy, bigger nuggets. We quickly realized when you ordered things on the menu, the name of the items was probably misleading but it created a great surprise because you never knew what you where going to get. Nongkran brought my nuggets out and the picture above is what I received. Like I said, what a great surprise! As I was eating it I thought wow this is amazing, it taste like Thai food from training camp! She came back with some waters for our table and I let her know that it was absolutely delicious! She said it is from her country, it was called Thai Chicken! I immediately started freaking out because I felt like I was in training camp all over again. I said, OH MY GOODNESS I know a lot about that place! She smiled so big at me and I was able to share with her how I was leaving for 9 months on Gods mission. I told her where I was going and that one of the routes we were able to choose was going to Thailand! She thought it was the coolest thing! I told her about training camp and how I learned about her culture and ate foods just like hers. Joy immediately consumed our table and she said, let me bring you another plate. Then she proceeded to put her pointer finger up to her lips and say in her cute accent, it can be our little secret. Then she came back with two plates!! I laughed because she was so excited, and I ended up eating all three plates of this little appetizer chicken and nothing else. We talked a little more, but I just expressed to her how thankful I was and how she amazed me with her work ethic. I left dinner that night knowing that God gave me that encounter as conformation that I don’t need to worry about anything. The trip will be just like that beautiful conversation, joyful, exciting, and full of easy going friendships! I was able to bless her with a tip on top of what my parents had given. Our trip came to a fast end and I can proudly say haven’t felt this much peace with leaving in a while. God is gracious and he loves us, he is truly amazing at showing us this.

I Love you tons Lord
