Hey everyone!!

It’s officially the best time of the year! I want to share a new perspective that God has been showing me through this Christmas time. Up until this year, presents were my main focus. Since this will be my last Christmas here in the States, God is equipping me and my way of thinking to prepare me for the mission field. God is wrecking me in the best way. My eyes have been opened to see the truth about what this time of year is truly about; giving, fellowship, family, and thankfulness. This is a time to share the most amount of joy possible! During this season we need to be joyful for the Saviors beautiful birth, focus on giving instead of receiving, and being thankful for family. When Jesus was born He GAVE His life for us to save us from our sins, He never wanted to RECEIVE. He wants us to be happy and to trust in Him. Jesus wants us to bring Him our fears and worries. Fellowship is very important as well, it is our job to share the love of Christ! We get to help others as He helps us everyday. I am most thankful for God opening my eyes because I am seeing that family is something I will cherish most here and on the mission field. Family is the best gift I could ever receive. I have never been so full of joy! Next year I will experience my first Christmas without them! I will have made a new “family” and we will fellowship with the villages and share our joy and thankfulness.  I look forward giving instead of receiving. As I continue to listen to what God shows me in preparation for my amazing journey to Swaziland, Costa Rica, and Cambodia I wish you the Merriest Christmas! I pray love, joy, and memories for you and your families. Thank you to those who have been supporting me through donation and prayer. I continue to be amazed at the work He is doing everyday. I love you all and I continue to ask for your support through the New Year!!

With the most love,

Madison 🙂
