I have exciting news! My destination has changed from Zambia to Thailand!
When signing up for July semesters, I began to set my heart on the Thailand trip. I was extremely confident that was the one I was supposed to go on because it was the one I was most passionate about. When I was officially accepted and able to confirm my spot on a trip, the Thailand trip was full. The staff with Adventures in Missions said they would put my name on the waitlist as long as I was committed to another trip first. I subsequently chose Zambia and began to allow the Lord to put me at peace about this event that was honestly disappointing. The Father was faithful and kind to not allow me to stay in disappointment and He quickly gave me a new excitement for the Zambia trip.
About a month or so later, I get the message saying that a spot has opened up on the Thailand trip and it is mine if I want it. With a little prayer and counsel, I chose to accept the spot. I am even more excited now than before about this particular trip and I am absolutely positive God is going to do miraculous things with my life on this adventure.
I want to say thank you again to all who have prayed for me and supported me thus far. I could not physically complete this mission without the body behind me. Praise God for His design in the church!
