The days and hours before I arrived in Atlanta for training camp came with a lot of anxiety. I have never been one to struggle with anxiety, especially with travel. I love traveling. I love ministry. But as the trip got nearer and nearer, I became more and more anxious.
The Father used a verse that my mom has prayed over me for forever: Psalm 139:5. ”You hem me in behind and before me, you have layed your hand upon me”. It’s funny how often the Lord gives me tangible proof of His provision and yet I so consistently need a reminder.
Yet again, the Lord provided. As soon as I met my squad mates, I met the most intense peace and joy I have ever experienced. He’s been revealing His glory in new and exciting ways every day. It is clear that He is intentional.
We finally arrived in Thailand after traveling for a day…. or two days?? We are in a place of excited anticipation for what the Father is inviting us to be a part of. We are thankful that Jesus gave us a reason to be here. We are confident because the Holy Spirit goes with us.
Thank you, God, that your mercies are new every morning; even when morning feels like night. You are faithful when we are not. Your kindness overwhelms us.
We love you too.
