Hello Everyone!!
Welcome to my blog. I have some very exciting news… I have been accepted to the World Race semesters trip to the Philippines in June 2020!
Why the Philippines? And What are you doing there?
This past semester after volunteering at Karns High School through an organization called young life, I had met many amazing kids that ultimately helped me decide on my major of Psychology and elementary education. Because of this, I knew I wanted my summer to look like a combination between my love for Jesus and kids. The world race had been on my heart for many years, but I was always scared to even consider it. I prayed for many weeks and finally decided to apply once I saw the trip to the Philippines. This trip is focused on orphan care, discipleship, disaster relief, and medical missions. We will be working along side an organization called Kids International Ministry. Doing so, our team will have the opportunity to help in the birthing clinic, tutor, participate in medical care, and build relationships with kids. I will be gone from May 28th through June 29th on my journey to Manila, Philippines.
How can you help?
Prayer and donations! I have to raise $4,550 by June and alone, I will not be able to meet that! I ask for prayer that I meet my fundraising needs and that it is all in God’s Plan. Please also pray for safe travels for my team as we are in the Philippines for a month and that we learn and grow according to God’s plan.
