Hey friends! Thanks for checking out my blog. Here is a small glimpse into who I am as a person!
I am currently finishing my second year at Oregon State University, where I am finishing all nursing pre-requisites. I don’t know my exact plan for after the race but my most likely options are returning to OSU and pursuing a bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Sciences or applying to nursing school. My long term goal is to be a midwife! I think that the human body is amazing, and one of the coolest things is the ability to grow a baby and bring it into the world. Women are incredible and I would love to empower women in what may be one of the most scary, yet most beautiful, moments of their life.
I am the youngest of six siblings. I have three sisters and two brothers, and love all of them so very much. I have seven nieces and nephews, and being an auntie is my favorite thing ever. I grew up in Tigard, OR with my siblings and parents, but my family is a bit more spread out now.

My oldest nephew (Rylan) and my oldest niece (Kenzlyn)
My parents (Scott and Peggy) and I.
Young Life has been a big part of my journey with Jesus. My Young Life group and leader (from high school) mean the world to me. I have also been involved in college Young Life, which rocks as well.
Erin and I. My friend and Young Life leader from high school.
I first became interested in God and what Jesus did for me in middle school, but it wasn’t until high school that I made the decision to give my life to Him. More recently is when I really decided to pursue Him and live for Him for real. I think that everyone should know this sweet sweet love that we are given. To know more about how I was called to go on the World Race, check out my first blog post!
