Hello! I have some exciting news..
I am FULLY FUNDED!!! Wow. I really can’t believe it, but it feels so great to be able to say those 2 words. THANK YOU to everyone who donated, prayed, bought shirts, encouraged and was there to support me over the last 10 months. The Lord is SO GOOD. and so faithful. His promises are true. and I am utterly amazed and in awe at His goodness.
Also, I leave Thursday, August 3rd, and I will be staying in ATL for some last minute training. My parents will join me on Friday and we will have a session together with our parents. On Saturday, I will have lunch with them and then we will have to say goodbye. I will remain in ATL until Monday for some more training. On Monday, August 7, I will officially leave the USA for Serbia!!!
One last update, I have received the information about the ministry my team and I will be doing for the first month of the World Race!!!
My team, along with another team on my squad (Team Paradosis), will be in Sombor, Serbia working with a ministry called Protestant Christian Fellowship of Sombor. Our ministry for the month will be discipleship of young people through building relationships with them. We will do this through sports, games, song, dance, english club, meals, coffee, etc. Anything that helps create and grow friendship.
I am super pumped for the first month of the race!!!
Please be praying over my squad and I as we leave everything behind. Pray for our hearts as we are having to say goodbye to the most important people in our lives. Please pray that our hearts and minds would be opened to accepting what the Lord has for us in these last few days of training. And pray for safe travels as we launch and head to Serbia. Please be praying for my team and team Paradosis. Pray for open and accepting hearts from the people we will come in contact with. That their eyes would be opened and their ears attentive to the voice of God. Pray that the Lord would direct our conversations and that He would move in ways that only He can move.
I am expectant, and can’t wait to see all that the Lord is going to do in month 1!!!
