Those are the powerful lyrics I sang, over & over & over, sitting on the rooftop in Haiti after just having walked through the journey of surrendering everything at the feet of Jesus all over again when He told me to squad lead in January. I sang them, through streams of tears, over my heart & soul until I believed them & meant the words I was singing with every ounce of my being. I still sing them over my heart & soul every single day, because it’s a choice I get to make, not just for the big decisions in my life, but also for every single moment of every day. I get to choose to surrender to Jesus & to the plans He has for my life, which by the way, are greater than anything I could ever come up with on my own. Thank you Jesus!
