It’s been a while since I have written a blog post, but I wanted to update everyone that is following along on my journey with the change that has been made to my route:

I will be headed to NAMIBIA instead of Madagascar and HAITI instead of Jamaica – yay!

This makes my current route:

Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Lesotho, South Africa, Namibia, Haiti, Dominican Republic

This is our second route change – and the truth is this probably won’t be our last one! Route changes happen all the time for various reasons – safety, political unrest, trouble with visas, needs for ministry hosts, etc.

Adventures In Missions (AIM) is always looking out for the best interest of our squad and the ministries they work with, so route changes happen frequently and there is a possibility it could happen when we are on our way to our next country!

I was a little upset with this route change, because Madagascar was one of the reasons I chose this route. But I knew stepping into this journey that having a heart surrendered to the Lord and a willing heart to trust Him no matter what, was going to be key. So I have chosen to trust Him in the midst of the change, because I know for a fact this won’t be the last. God is good and He is sovereign. I trust that He has already gone before us and orchestrated each place we will go and each person we will meet, and it is all with a specific God ordained purpose.

Also, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that I’LL BE GOING BACK TO HAITI!!! Talk about a sovereign God! An answer to prayers and an answer to my heart cry. I’m thankful that God is in the details, and that He cares about each of our hearts desires.

Cheers to two new countries!

**Other news**

It’s taken me 3 days to write this, so I have some exciting news to share!!!

In just 4 short hours I will be headed to TRAINING CAMP!!!! I will spend 10 days in Gainesville, Georgia where I will meet my whole squad!!! I am so excited to see how God works through each of us over the next week and a half. I will be writing a blog as soon as I return to update you all on what will happen at Training Camp, so stay tuned!!

If you could all be praying for safe travels today as we will be traveling from all over the country, for each of our hearts to be in tune with Jesus and what He wants to show us while we’re there, for our hearts and minds to be focused on One Name, for nervous/anxious hearts, that Jesus would be our peace during these next uncomfortable 10 days.

Thank you all for the support, encouragement and prayers!

xoxo, Madison
