Let me tell you about my fearless leader Madison:
First of all, Madison was crazy enough to do the Race twice, so if you thought I was crazy…..
Mads completed her own race last summer and knew God was calling her to be a squad leader for a new squad…and not just for 5 months but for all 11!
Mads has the biggest heart. She has so much compassion for people, for our squad, and especially for babies all over the world. Put a baby in this lady’s arms and she’s perfectly happy.
Madison is a loyal friend. In Nepal, she flew all the way back to Atlanta to be in a friend’s wedding! She is always a listening ear and will give you her full and complete attention.
Madison is a leader. I can’t imagine it’s easy leading 40 people across the world, being in charge of so many things and having to answer so many questions (her personal favorite is “where’s the bathroom??”)
Basically what I’m saying is Madison Thompson is the best and everyone should have one in their lives. This beautiful strong woman has taught me so much about discipline, kindness, and inviting the Father into every aspect of my life. She’s also always down to workout with me, and to hold me accountable in staying healthy and finding balance on this crazy journey.
I’m proud to call her both my leader and my friend.
