Well I am excited to be able to say THIS IS MY FIRST BLOG POST AND YOURE READING IT!
So many mixed feelings lately! I am so excited to start my new life and to have been presented with such a great opportunity! I am excited to meet my new WR family!
Expectations? I guess you could say I’m going at this whole thing with an open mind and heart. I want to meet amazing people, go amazing places, immerse myself into different cultures, grow in the Lord and in myself, and maybe eat some bugs off sticks or something crazy along the way!
Nervous? Id be lying if I told you that I wasn’t. I didn’t think I would be nervous because traveling and helping people is all I have ever wanted to do! But, a very wise man once told me that he would be weirded out if I wasn’t nervous or scared. He said, “Madz, thats how you know this is the right fit for you! You are in the right place. You will do great things. You will change the world. I believe in you.” So yes I am nervous. Im leaving a lot behind but I know its for the better and it will be a life changing beautiful experience. And I know so many people believe in me, including myself and thats a good feeling.
