I did not come to teach English. That is my task this month, but it is not my purpose. I did not come to make people’s lives more productive or to help deliver them from poverty. I came to be God’s eyes as they seek out His future children. I came to be His feet to carry hope to those who have lost theirs. I came to be His hands to help those who are so weary they cannot continue to be His hands alone. I came for Him and His children (present and future).

In the same way, God did not bring the teachers to this school simply to teach English. He brought the ones who don’t know Him to come be surrounded by those who will lead them to Him. He brought those who know Him here to be together as a united force to love others to Him. It’s for Him, not for the betterment of people. But by His grace, He is glorified through His people (present and future) being blessed! Praise the Lord!

Thank you to everyone for completely funding this branch of my life in surrender to God. Please continue to pray for me through this journey.

In Christ, Madi
