Hey y’all! I am from Richardson, Texas. I have lived here my whole life with my mom and dad and my two siblings. My parents have been married for 19 years and have been such a good example of what a healthy marriage should look like. My sister, Cami, is nine years old and loves making slime and watching you-tube videos. She is in cheer and volleyball and is super talented at every sport she takes on. My brother, Alex, is fifteen years old. He is about to get his learners permit… which means he will soon be able to drive. It is crazy! Over the years we have become super close because we are relatively close in age and are able to relate more easily to each-other. He is in football and is really good at the pole vault in track. I am very proud of the people my siblings are becoming.
As for me, I turned eighteen in September and have been enjoying the transition into adulthood. I just recently voted for the very first time! I love to write and journal. I like to write about things going on in my life and sometimes about stories that pop into my brain. I am very interested in Asian and African culture, so I am very excited for Ethiopia and Thailand. I love animals (including my Yorkie, Dax). However, my favorite animal is an elephant. I like to collect anything elephant related and hope to find some when I am on the mission field. I love hanging out with my friends and going downtown to look in boutiques. I love Dallas but my favorite place in the world is Crested Butte, Colorado. My family goes skiing there every winter. It is such a beautiful tradition and I know I will cherish the memories forever.
