I have been sitting here for about an hour now trying to think of an awesome introduction to this about me… (its not working out very well).
Sooooo, My name is Maddy Moody!
Growing up I was the third out of four siblings, but little did we know that our family of six would turn into a family of eleven. My family and I are involved in oversees missions, specifically Uganda, Africa. Three years ago my parents decided to bring over four kids from Uganda who are now a part of our family.
I am a 2015 graduate of Toccoa Falls College with a degree in music and classical guitar as my concentration. God has gifted me in many areas but there is something about music and creating it, that keeps my soul alive! I went through college constantly trying to find where I fit in and where God wanted me. Towards the end of my sophomore year, I was introduced to the music department more consistently, this sparked my interest. I absolutely loved studying music, guitar, and worship. This was an outlet for me to express things and it was how I really worshipped and glorified Christ during my time at school.
After graduating I found myself in a place of total and complete surrender to God’s will in my life and I am filled with a desire to do more than I can do with my own ability. God has really revealed the opportunity for more to me by putting the World Race Mission on my heart. This opportunity is going to be challenging, rewarding, exciting, nerve-racking, and probably many more different “ing’s” but I am so excited that God’s hand is leading me where He wants me and that I am even considered worthy enough for this amazing opportunity.
