Alright everyone, I have exciting news….
I have found out what city I’ll be in and what my ministry will be for the first month of the world race!! Drumroll please…

City: Los Chiles, Costa Rica! Right near the border to Nicaragua!

Ministry: Resplandecer! Their ministry vision is, “tend to at risk teens and children that need to be rehabilitated. Through the process of having these children here, they pour into and invest so that they can be reincorporated into society with support and love.” While working with this ministry some things I’ll be doing are weeding/planting trees, kids club, praying for the city, and possibly teaching women crafts and community outreach!

Words cannot express how excited I am to go and work with this ministry. I am just so PUMPED to be in Costa Rica doing God’s work! I am so blessed that I even have an opportunity to travel around the globe. And to think that it’s all for God blows my mind! He has been so so good to me these past fews months.

Okay, here’s where it gets tough. The fact of the matter is, I can be as excited as I want to be about going but none of that matters if I can’t actually get there. I need roughly $4,000 by the 26th of August, or I don’t go. By the grace of God my deadline was pushed back and I can only take that as a sign that He definitely wants me on this trip. I’m praying with all my might that this money comes through but I need your help. If you haven’t yet donated and want to now is the time. My Adopt a Box is still open, if every box is bought I will meet the deadline and be on my way to Costa Rica! Buy a box and help me get to those kids. Help me get to those women and men. Help me get to Resplandecer. Help me get to Los Chiles. Help me fulfill God’s plan for me.

If you would like to donate, even a small amount, hit the donate button above or contact me about alternative options. Keep me in your prayers, that is a big part of this too. Prayer is what will make the donations go far.

Thank you to all of those who have donated and supported me through this. Also, shoutout to my parents for being so awesome! I know I haven’t always made it easy but you’ve always been there to support and love me.

I can’t do this alone guys! I need all the help I can get!

Peace out Brussels Sprout,
Maddy 🙂
