My name is Maddy and I’m 18 years old! I am currently a senior in high school and I also take college classes online. That means I get out of school early everyday (which is the best thing ever)! If I’m not working as a waitress at Cracker Barrel I am most likely at a local coffee shop because I love coffee! I grew up traveling around the United States with my family ministering at churches. We settled in a small town in Pennsylvania when I was 7 years old and have lived here ever since. I love my mom and dad, they’re some of the biggest role models in my life! I have 2 sisters, Tori and Tiffany, and they’re both older than me. When my whole family is together it is a PARTY to say the least! My family has taught me to love life and love one another! I am passionate about people, and showing everyone the amazing love that God has to offer! I am so excited about this crazy and amazing adventure I am about to go on! I heard about the world race about a year ago and followed a friends journey through pictures and blogs. I just new that this was what I wanted to do. I hope to make a difference in the countries I’m visiting and that God will totally change my life. I’m worried about the whole “backpacking” part of this trip considering that I’ve always been one to overpack anywhere I’m going. But I’m excited to live with less for a while! I’ve been praying that God will continue to guide me through this adventure and provide the funds to do this trip! God is so good and I love him so much!
