My name is Madeline Knowles, but I’ve gone by Maddie since about 7th grade (what people call me is usually a good indication of how long I’ve known them!!). I’m 18 years old, I live in Williamsburg, Virginia, and I go to Jamestown High School. I have a passion for meeting new people, writing, and learning about and spreading God’s word through mission work. I’ve also run cross country and track since my sophomore year and have done competitive Irish dancing since I was 6. I believe in always trying to live life to the fullest and laughing while you do it. My thoughts are usually all over the place, so this is where I’m going to try and form coherent sentences about everything I’m thinking and feeling while on this gap year and how I can see God working through everything around me.
For a tl;dr – I’m sort of a mess, but I’m working on finding a purpose through the Lord and His callings in the following years to come. Thanks for sticking with me. I really can’t wait!
