day one in Nicaragua! training camp was absolutely incredible. we worshipped, learned, had team times & so much more. I am abundantly blessed by the team/squad I have. Beauty is everywhere; found in the simplicity of the moments we so easily let slip by. From the laughter during our dance-off to the spectrum of colors everywhere, the absence of complexity leaves room for joy and gratitude. I think that the Gospel is so beautiful as well because of its simplicity and I’m overwhelmingly excited to dive into the Word in these next few months— as well as what the Lord will reveal to me and others on this journey. Ephesians 1:4 says, “God chose us in him, that is in Christ before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love, he predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ according to the purpose of his will to the praise of the glory of his grace.” That is why I am here. I am not bringing Jesus to anyone, he’s already here. I am simply sharing the Good News. I want to thank everyone for praying for me and my teammates and urge you to pray ever more as the enemy is trying to distract, delay and stop this from happening. Read your Bible every day because wherever you are is your missions field & with the Gospel you are fully equipped. Love to everyone, Madds.
