Hi friends!
I just wanted to share some of the fun things we got to do with some of the cutest kiddos this past month!
A few of the mornings we spent cleaning & painting & preparing the new kids room! On the last day of VBS we all got to get our hands dirty – using our hand prints to make butterflies, leaves, & flowers!
The verse on the wall is Mark 10:14 – “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
The church promoted us as a “bilingual” VBS so we spent a lot of time teaching English – through bingo, songs, games, & drawing!
They learned John 3:16 in English & Jenny taught them “Jesus Loves me” to the tune of jingle bells – it was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen, watching them practice & prepare this song!
We spent the second part of our month in Apolo & San Andres, Bolivia {two very tiny pueblos}.
We sang, danced & played a lot of games with the kids, we also got A LOT of bug bites!
We are headed to Mendoza, Argentina this evening for a few days of debrief & then our final month of ministry in South America.
Team changes are happening this month & we would love your partnership in prayer, as transitions & changes are often challenging. I have learned & grown so much & I know the Lord is going to continue to work in me throughout the race!
