Hi! It’s me again – writing another blog that I hope will make you feel informed and up to date one what’s going on as I live my life across the globe. 🙂  This blog will most likely be a mix of me preaching and of random little updates. So welcome! I tend to think way too hard when it comes to writing these things because I want to come across as smart and super cool. How lame is that? I have no idea why I’m telling you this. I guess I hope it makes you feel more connected to me? Or maybe I truly just have no idea how to start off this blog and I thought this was a good idea. I’m not even going to backspace and try to fix this because what’s the point. We try too hard to come across as people we aren’t. Can I get an amen? Can I get a “yes we do”? haha being up in high altitude and being basically an inch from the sun is doing something to my mind. I feel like a prune because my skin is so dry. OKAY randomness over!

HI! This past week my team had the privilege to visit the local hospital every morning to pray for the sick and to simply love on the patients. We go to pray, share a testimony, and give a sermon that we feel they need to hear that day. The morning I went I got to touch on how God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear. He gives us the spirit of trust, power, strength, and faith. Anytime we are fearful of anything I hope you know that isn’t God. He just wants us to have faith and trust that He has it all. In the snap of a finger He can do whatever He wants. He loves you and me. It’s a waste of time to fear. Stop doing it.

We also get the chance to go to the local prison once a week to do the same. This week 5 people accepted Jesus!!! That was spectacular to watch and be a witness to. It makes me want to go to prisons in America and do ministry.

Something that’s a little funny is we randomly will run out of water where we are staying. The amount of times I’ve heard “oh the water’s out” have been too many for my liking, but I’m a world racer who doesn’t care and likes being dirty. My showers have consisted of a bucket full of water from the artic ocean basically and a small cup to scoop with. The simple life indeed. It’s actually growing on me. I might just take bucket showers the rest of my life. The tricky part is when we don’t have clean drinking water. That gets a little hectic especially because the local grocery store frequently runs out of water bottles so then we turn into prunes.

All in all Lesotho is AMAZING. I wish I could show you my view from where we are staying, but the pictures I’ve taken don’t even do it justice. It looks like a Microsoft computer screensaver. The relationships I’ve already gotten to build have changed my life. The women here are bosses and I’ve loved sharing the love of Jesus with them and learning from them as well. Tonight I actually get to share my testimony with the woman of the church. I can’t wait!

Sending ALL of the love,

Mace  xxx
