So at the time I’m writing this, I have a little over a week until launch. Holy wow. It’s really here. And since my departure is fast approaching, and this is probably way past due, I figured I give you guys an update!
First things first, I’m really going!! God has graciously led 35 people to support me and I cannot thank you enough. I owe each and every one of you a big ole hug! I am now at over $10,000 and over halfway to my $18,000 goal.
Emotionally/mentally, I’m in a bit of a lull period. It’s the point where everything’s in order, the biggest “to-do’s” are checked off, and the next thing left to do is go! I’ve been asked quite a few times in the past weeks, are you nervous at all? And do you want to know the truth? I’m really not. Ever since I can remember, I knew this is what I was called to do. To travel and to help people. Whatever that may look like. So while I know I’m most likely not prepared for every thing that lies ahead, I have faith, and the only thing I have to say is, bring it on!
I have recently learned I will be in Novi Sad, Serbia for the month of August. There we will be living and working alongside a local church to put on a camp for kids in the city. It’s probably going to look a little bit different than a vacation bible school here in the states, but that’s the whole adventure! I can’t wait to share my experiences with everyone on here!
So that’s a little peek at what my life looks like at the moment! I thank each and every one of you for your continued support and I promise to keep you updated as I make my next step in this crazy journey. Hopping on that plane!
