My teammates wrote a little bit about me, and this is what they had to say:
Hallie: One time Mack told me that she literally would lose sleep at night because she wanted a zombie apocalypse to happen so bad. I don’t know why I felt the need to tell you that. Probably because it kinda sums up who Mack is…full of surprises and a fierce warrior. Mack is sweet and gentle, but she is a fighter. She fights for those she loves. She fights the lies that have been sown into her life with truth. She wields love and scripture as her weapons and with those she is powerful. Mack is courageous and I have no doubt that if there were an actual zombie apocalypse, she would come out on top.
T: I say this all the time, but mack is a ray of sunshine. I really appreciate all that she is and how she loves people so well. Mack is bold, and beautiful in the way she seeks people out and intentionally gets to know them. The growth I have seen in her over the past month has been so good and refreshing. I am so proud to be on her team and be her sister in Christ. I am excited to continue to watch her grow, and to grow along side her. We have our moments, but the moments after are so much sweeter. Mack and I are able to have the sweetest conversations about The Lord and what He is doing through and for us as we grow together.
Avery: Mack is one of those people that you see and just instantly draw near to. I don’t even remember my first impression of her because from the moment I met her I just felt like she was already one of my closest friends. If you know Mack or have even been in the same room as her for a couple minutes you know exactly what I’m talking about. She is filled with joy, love, and pursues people so well. The Lord’s intentionality shines and I mean SHINES through this girl. It’s only been a month since we started this crazy journey and Mack is already family. It’s not easy to live in such close quarters with so many people but I wouldn’t have it any other way because there is a certain peace that is brought into a room with Mack. I love this sister of mine so so much and I already see the Lord working and moving through her more and more as time goes on. I can’t wait to see everything the Lord has in store for her!
Sarah: Mack is seriously one of my favorite people ever. She is full of so much joy and radiates such an incredible attitude wherever she goes. From day one, she has always been so easy to talk to and to have deep conversations with. She isn’t afraid to talk about the difficult stuff and have deep conversations from the get go. She has grown so much this past month and watching her at ministry has been so inspiring. While she works with the women, she always has a smile on her face and finds so much joy in it. She pours out so much into the people at our ministry and serves with so much passion. She goes out of her way to help wherever help is needed and never fails to ask where she can help out. Over this past month, she has become so much more confident in who she is and has grown so much in her relationship with the Lord. She has been so good about reminding our team about positivity and what it looks like to find joy in every situation while also being able to be completely real at the same time. Mack is such a blessing to our team and I can’t even imagine life without her. Love you Mack!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3
Maggie: I tell Mack this all the time, but she literally carries herself like no one I’ve ever met before. She knows how to make every single person in whole world feel special and loved. She is the touchiest person I think I’ve ever met, but in the best way. She is so good at making people feel welcomed and comfortable. Mack is a shining star in this dim world and I mean that. One day she literally came to us crying because she didn’t think that she was being intentional enough with the people on our squad, but this girl goes out of her way to talk to people even if it might be an inconvenience. She never stops loving and she always has open arms. What a sweet, sweet blessing in my life. Mack is my gal and she is legit the coolest person.
Taylor: Mack where do I even begin… This girl is filled with a heart to serve the Lord and you can defiantly tell. In our ministry she is working with the women and they absolutely love her. They look forward to each day that she is teaching English class. Although she sometimes thinks she isn’t doing anything she actually is teaching them a lot to where they want to learn more and not stop. They have a smile on their face when she walks in the room and love to here how she is doing each day. Mack has the best humor with our team and she cheers everyone up when we are having “emo” hours. There are many things that I enjoy about this girl but her energy and the way she serves the Lord each day is what I strive for. She is the best and I thank God each day for her.
Ally: Mack is hands down the coolest girl I have ever met. She somehow can make every person in the room feel loved. I remember the first time I met her, I walked up to her and she gave me the biggest hug and instantly made me feel like her friend. From the start she has been the glue to our team. Making sure each of us feels included and wanted. We can be sitting in a room full of people and she is able to pick out anyone who might feel lonely and she will go and love on them. She is so loving but also so genuine. Along with her huge heart full of love she is so encouraging. She is there when I am down and always points me higher. This girl has such hunger for the Lord. She is always ready to serve and learn more about God. Her joy is contagious and so real. It is always a good time being around her. I am so proud of her and it is honestly a privilege getting to watch her grow. She has become one of my closest friends and I love her a whole lot.
