Hey Y’all!
My name is Mackenzie Ropka! I am a 21 year old college student in North Carolina! I am studying to get my BSN in May 2019! (Soon to be Mackenzie Ropka RN, BSN!!) I love coffee, smiling, dogs, and Jesus! I love other things, but these are my top 4 in no particular order. Currently, I am just trying to survive my senior year and graduate. And I am also trying to tackle life with a puppy! His name is Cash and he is a Boxer hound mix!
I am originally from New Jersey, the armpit of America. I come from a family of 7. My mom and dad and then my 4 brothers. Yes, I am the only girl, and yes, I am the middle child! I have been a Christian for as long as I can remember. My parents always took us to church, put us in AWANA (any other Sparks out there??), and drove us to Youth group, striving for us to be close to the Lord. I accepted Christ as my personal savior when I was 7. But my life didn’t really change till I got to high school. The Lord really shaped me and spoke to me in those 4 years and it shook me. I realized that he wasn’t just a person like everyone else along side of me. He was far greater and able to do so much more than I could imagine. He was changing my life each and everyday, showing himself to me in new ways, all I had to do was stay close and listen.
Right now, life is crazy, but through it all the Lord has been so faithful! He has laid on my heart the desire to serve him beyond my college campus and America and I am so excited to see what that looks like! I am looking forward to this new adventure. Although it is scary, I am confident that the Lord will guide me and lead me where he wants me to go.
