This is a day that I knew would come but it was just waiting on the Lord’s timing. I am so excited to announce that I am FULLY FUNDED!! The Lord has proved that He will provide time and time again and I’m so glad to finally see this one through. I have prayed for the Lord to use people in new and crazy ways and He DID THAT!
I could not have done this without all of the love, support and prayers that I have received. This fundraising process took over a year but seeing it from the other side is SO cool. I remember looking at the number $19,200 and thinking HOW? I had so many questions from friends and family back home about just that, HOW?! I always had the same answer: it will happen when it’s supposed to.
His timing is not always our timing and having to put my trust in that has been hard but so good. I have learned to trust His timing and to push into the uncomfortable through fundraising. I have walked in faith and will continue to do so.
As if changing continents wasn’t enough change, we also have been placed with new teams. I will shed some more light on my new teammates shortly but if you check out the left-hand side of this website you can put some faces to the names of team Generation Free! Jordan & I will be spending the next few months with the boys on our squad Eric, TJ, Jason & Grant. I have also been asked to continue serving as a team leader and I’m so excited to learn how to lead & love these people!
