I hope you all enjoyed my last blog post and are just as excited as I am for all God will do this upcoming year!
Below is an update on what I still have in front of me, prayer requests, and needs
Things in Front of me
- 2nd Financial deadline is December 18 of $10,000; short $800; last day to mail support is Dec. 4 and last day to give online is Dec 15
Will not launch in January if $10,000 goal is not met
- I leave January 8th for Atlanta then head to Lima, Peru
- Still need to raise roughly $8,300 to be fully funded.
- I still need to get vaccinations
- I still have some gear purchases I need to make
- Will be moving home and getting rid of several belongings
- Praying about what to do with car, phone, and other items in my life
- Finish setting up new bank account
Prayer Request
- Continual discipline in the word and prayer
- Trusting God daily with tasks and giving Him my burdens
- Leaving Family and friends well
- God’s faithfulness with my family and friends relationships with Him
- Support deadlines and fundraisers
- Logistics with moving and leaving
- Building and creating a prayer team for my journey
- What to do with my car? Asking the father His plan for it?
- Getting vaccinations and medicine I will need for the year
- Daily Courage to walk in faith and truth
- Prayers for my teammates and their support raising
Specific Prayer Request & Need
I am praying for funds to upgrade my camera body from a Canon Rebel to a Canon 6D ($1,500), hoping to sell the Canon Rebel in the process. Since leaving art school, I have wrestled with whether the Lord has wanted me to use photography for the kingdom. And, after three years I believe He does! My hope during and after the World Race is to use photography as a career path to share/document people’s lives on the mission field for prayer and informing the body.
Updates & Praises
- T-shirt fundraiser went well selling 36 shirts and raising $424. The shirts will be in the end of this week!
- Currently, I am doing the “Pick a Square, Send Me There,” fundraiser. I have sold 13 squares raising $378. I pray for each square to be selected to raise a grand total of $5,050 to go towards my support total
- I am over halfway funded!
