I’ve been with these five girls for the past six months and I can honestly say that they have become some of my closest friends. Each month we have been able to grow closer and learn how to love each other better. Throughout these past six months I’ve learned something from each of them and I thought I would share with you all.
Lexi- What a prayer warrior looks likes. I’ve never met someone who is so devoted to their quiet time and spending time with the Lord everyday.
Darby- How to always have a can-can attitude. I’ve also never met someone who has such a willing spirit and is willing to try anything even if she fails. She has taught me to try at everything even if I think I can’t do it.
Morgan- She taught me what it looks like to be able to trust someone again and what it looks like to be vulnerable. This is something I’ve struggled throughout the entire race with, and life before the race, and having Morgan, especially these last three months, has been truly a blessing.
Carissa- She is the one who inspired me to want to be more knowledgeable about the Bible. I realized at the age of 19, I should know more about the Bible then I do and that’s something I’m striving for.
Cassidy- That it’s okay to have my sense of humor and that there are other people who are similar to me because she is one of them. I’ve become extremely thankful to have someone like me on this wild and crazy team.
