Holy smokes. I can’t help but get excited and freaked out in the best way when I think that in less than a year from now, I will be on route in a foreign country!! I am so blown away at how God has already provided so stinking much so far!! Lately though, all I can seem to think of is the future, and all the incredible things that I get to take part of soon. A few weeks ago, a good friend of mine showed me a quote that really hit my heart and stuck with me. “While you are waiting for God to open those doors in your life, praise Him in the hallways.” MAN! This was definitely a God thing, and was just the reminder I needed to hear. Am I stoked to go across the world and do work for His Kingdom? Heck yes!! But am I also beyond blessed that I get to do His work right where I’m at, right now? You bet. So with that gentle tug on my heart strings, I’ll be striving to make more of Him while I’m waiting for my trip, and whatever other doors He has already planned to open for me. And I will absolutely be praising Jesus while I’m waiting!:)
