BIG, BIG UPDATES!!! I know I haven’t made a blog post in a while, so grab a seat and get ready to read a good little novel:) Between my last post and now, so much has changed thanks to a little global pandemic. My heart has never experienced as much grief and confusion as it has these past few months. Everything seemed twisted and upside down, and Satan had a field day with me. It was so easy for me to question and doubt God, instead of trusting that He knows best. It took bringing me down to my lowest to remind me just how much I have to trust Him. I will say though, this time of unknown has given me a chance to rest in Him and grow in my faith and in my prayer life, praise Him for that. Because of Covid, my gap year trip with the World Race has gone from nine months, September through May, to now six months, January through June. My route has changed, and now I’ll be headed to Nicaragua for 1.5 months, Costa Rica for 1.5 months, then finishing out in Cambodia for 3 months. I have a new squad, and honestly I don’t know much more than that!! With all of this, I lost out on fundraising opportunities for a few months, but now I can move forward again with that too!
