I wanted to take a minute to let everyone know the answer to the second most common question I've been asked since being home. "What are you going to do now?"
Good question, friend, and thanks for asking. The answer is that I'm going back out. In January I'll be one of three squad leaders for C-Squad. (Squad leaders are not in the field the full 11 months, so you'll only have to mourn my absence for four months this time around.) Our schedule has us headed to The Philippines, China, India and Nepal…
…AND I AM PUMPED!!!

This wasn't something I was planning on AT ALL while on the race. I was happy to be coming home…to be with my family and church community. I was looking forward to clean sheets and free refills. But God has been speaking and leading..and through a number of supernatually natural circumstances has confirmed this role of squad leader is what He is leading me into for this net season, and I am walking forward confidently. So with that, I head to training camp in a few days to meet this new crew of crazy Christians who are ready to go out and rock the world with Christ's love and the power of Holy Spirit.
I CANNOT WAIT TO MEET THEM!!
So please stay tuned to the blog for more stories and photos to come. We don't leave until January, but I'll continue to write until then. I will have to fundraise once again, and I would love your support in that if you would be willing to contribute to this work through finances and prayer. (I plan on hosting the third Bluff for Love poker tournament in early November, so please make sure to check that out and come and play if you're in Jacksonville. The past two were as much fun as you can have gambling in a church!)
I LOVE you guys so much and I have been, and continue to be, thrilled to be in this adventure with you, sharing it all with you through this blog, emails and in person. YOU are so encouraging and God uses you to bring so much strength and joy to my life. Thank you so, so much.
