Alana Lusted is a wise-crackin', guitar-slingin' lady from Georgia.  She's hilarious, talented and an incredible gift to our team.  Her gentle demenor is just a front, because underneath is a hurricane of love.  She's pretty much the sister I never had, and almost always wanted.  I'm pretty sure the other teams are jealous that we get to hang with Alana everyday this year.  Yeah, I'd bet five bucks on that!

Angela Grit is our young gun.  Coming in at 20 years-old, it's clear she's brave, willing and eager to go out into the world.  We just hope the world is ready, not just because of her passion for Christ, but also because…well…Angela's a bit accident prone, and we want to give everyone out there a little heads up.  In all honesty though, her heart for kids is a powerful force, and I can't wait to see her impact in the lives of everyone we meet!

Haile Hendricks is a spark plug ladies and gentlemen.  It was Haile who took down the championship at our squad-wide dance competition during training camp.  (And that's sayin' somethin', because c'mon, we all know I got some moves.)  Haile is so full of Christ's love, so ready to risk and is incredibly mature and grounded.  Haile has agreed to take on the responsibility of handling all our team finances.  She is an incredible part of our team, and I love that we get to be family this year!

Paul Bell is adventure personified.  The guy ran from Mexico to Canada.  Yeah…ran.  The whole way.  And he stayed with people he met along the way.  How can you not want to be around someone like that?  It's pretty clear when you talk to Paul, he has a heart to share God's love.  He's an excellent encourager, and someone I'm proud to have as a brother.  If team lovebound ends up in unexpected places this year, and I mean REALLY unexpected places…it's probably because Paul's desire to explore the road less traveled led us there.

Nikki Medders is someone who knows the value of speaking life and hope through Christ in all situations.  She is one who keeps us grounded in reality.  Never afraid to walk through whatever Christ has for her, whether it's discovering healing in her own life, or in the lives of her teammates, Nikki is someone who has a heart for others.  She's our mom, our friend and our sister who loves love and loves us.  Thank you Nikki!

Angie Blattner can be summed up in a single word.  Otter!  On a personality test we took, Angie was classified as an otter (which is a huge compliment in my book, since I too was awarded that label.)  Angie is playful, hilarious and creative.  But why stop there?  She is an incredibly bold prayer warrior who loves to retake ground for the Kingdom!  She is always there to offer support for anyone in need and is just full of life.  But no one's perfect…so it must be mentioned that Angie has an adorable, but unhealthy love for all things kitty cat.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

 Love never fails.
