A lot going on.  Whew!  For starters, we're officially finished with our time in Central America.  Tomorrow afternoon we leave for the Philippines and four months in southeast Asia.  Our travel plans look something like this:

1. Fly out of San Jose, Costa tomorrow afternoon – Fly into San Salvador, El Salvador.
2. Fly out of San Salvador, El Salvador a few hours later – Fly into L.A., USA around 10pm.
3. Spend New Year's Eve in LAX.
4. Fly out of L.A. around 10am on New Year's Day – Fly into Hong Kong, China whenever.
5. Layover in Hong Kong for 3 hours.
6. Fly out of Hong Kong, China – Fly into Manilla, Philippines whenever.

Should make for an interesting 48-? hours.  (I'll have my video camera with me.  So stay tuned.)

       In Other News…

Our squad leaders Abby, Tim and Lauren will be bowing out next month, and have raised up two team leaders to become our new squad leaders.  Shannon and Scotty have been asked to take on that responsibility and will lead us for the next 8 months.  To replace them as team leaders Cody and Lindsey have stepped up as new team leaders.  And because of that…teams have been shifted and rearranged.  Team lovebound is no exception…

Sadly Paul and Sarah have both been changed to another team led by Greg (who is awesome and will only have a better year being with Paul and Sarah).  And in their place come…

Phil Khamoua

and Nikki Medders

I can't express how thrilled I am to get to be teammates with both Nikki and Phil!  I know they bring things to the team no one else can, and feel nothing but optimistic and hopeful for what Holy Spirit will do through us as a team.  (Truly…during a time of squad-wide 2 hour silence, meditation and prayer…God just began filling my heart with joy, excitement and hope for this new group He has put together.  Great stuff!!)  We're working on a new team name in the meantime.

There's been some other stuff on my heart that God is walking me through that I still want to share.  But we'll get to that.  For now, this is my last update from Central America!  The next blog will be from Asia!

(Thank you again for all your support, encouragement, prayer, comments and emails.  Really, I know I don't respond much personally to each one of you…but please know how powerful your words and love are.  Please don't stop!  Love you guys!!)
