The title probably sounds like the most random combination of food.
Well, it’s not a list of what I ate today!
It comes from this:

If I were a food…what would I be and why?

Michelle, Laura, Cathy, and I asked each other this question during team time the other night as a fun form of feedback. (Erin wasn’t there and we haven’t yet finished the discussion with her included.) It was hilarious and thought-provoking, and I loved hearing the creative reasons behind everyone’s answers!

So apparently I’m ramen, mangosteen, and lasagna. Here are some of the reasons behind the foods:

RAMEN: She said everyone loves ramen. She had a vision in which she imagined God shaking up the soup/spice packet and the flavor bursting forth in the ramen. Also, ramen comes in different flavors (analogous to fun, serious, sassy, etc) and it’s cost-effective (hahaha).

MANGOSTEEN: She’d just had mangosteen for the first time, and when it was given to her, she looked at it excitedly and thought, Okay! This is pretty… but what do I do with it? She didn’t know how to open it and enjoy what was inside. It was a messy process and it wasn’t quite what she expected, but it was rewarding and enjoyable when she finally got to eat it!

LASAGNA: Lasagna has many layers. It’s a classic and a go-to, and you can make it how you like it (adaptable). She said, Who doesn’t love some good lasagna?

It’s also great that these happen to all be foods that I enjoy. And we happened to be eating mangosteen together while doing this activity, haha. 😉

(: Just for funsies, here are the foods that we came up with for the other ladies:
Michelle C: bubble tea, marshmallow, cashew chicken
Laura: coffee, whole-grain nut bread, peanut butter
Cathy: orange, meatloaf, ice cream

I’d LOVE to hear what you think, too! If I were a food, what would I be and why? 😀  Comment below and I’ll try to do the same for you!
