…. & there are so many more times we are told how important scripture is. The Bible is the message God desires us to have to give us a guide to the prime life & a map for life’s journey. The Bible gives us insight to who we are as a magnificent work of a God who holds an unconditional love for us and gives us purpose.
The Lord teaches us crazy epic knowledge through scripture. The word of God comes from the heart of God, and to know the heart of God, shouldn’t we learn and know the word of God? Absolutely!!
Knowing scripture won’t necessarily lead to a transformation in our lives but through faith and obedience with scripture in our hearts, a transformation comes. We have a purpose to teach and apply scripture, but we must know it first.
Living in mission, I’ve realized how important it really is to know scripture. It’s pretty impossible to share the gospel if you don’t know the gospel. Scripture is a tool we are given to walk unbelievers through salvation and to God’s purpose. It’s incredible the things God teaches us through scripture.
Recently in my walk with the Lord, I have received a huge desire to get to know God’s word more in depth. God desire is for me to know his heart & his word is where it’s at!
I encourage each heart to spend a lot of time with scripture and really get to know the heart of God through it. I really believe scripture makes us WISE!
Update on my journey!! Last night, my team sadly left Ubon, but we left in peace knowing YWAM Ubon staff’s hearts. We traveled to Bangkok, where we will be for the next 3 days. Monday, we will fly to Malawi, Africa and live the next 3 months! Please be in prayer for safety in travels and the heart of Africa! Thank you!!
