Well it’s my last day living in the house I’ve been in here in Albania. We have been living with a long term missionary from Ireland. Her name is Donna Brady and she has lived here for 20 years. During that time she finished seminary and has planted a small church in a Muslim village.

During our time here we have been working with kiddos. During the day we work at Topolino preschool (non-christian). It’s a great private school for the cutest kiddos. I have had so much fun working with the ladies here. Most days I would help clean the breakfast and lunch dishes from the children and then go outside and make sure no one hurt the other.

Some of my favorite parts about this ministry has to do with the fact that kids are kids and they say the funniest things. A good amount of them spoke enough English that we could carry good conversations and one student in particular spoke fluent English.

In the evenings we would go down into Fark and play with the kids in the village. We played soccer and volleyball….let me just tell you, I can’t play soccer and I don’t think that is changing anytime soon. Volleyball, I’m competent enough that I could at least enjoy that sport.

I’m going to miss these kids so much but I’m excited about heading into month 7. So as I say goodbye to Albania, I say hello to Jiri, Nepal. We land in Kathmandu on Tuesday morning at 9:30 am. We will head to a hostel for the night and then the next morning our ministry host will pick us up for our 10hr car ride to our ministry site. From what we have been told the first 8 days sound very adventurous, exciting and restful. We will be hiking anywhere from 3-6 hrs a day. Possibly seeing Everest as well!! We aren’t sure exactly what ministry looks like yet since we aren’t there. However, from what we have been told we will be equipping leaders and coming alongside them to encourage them as well as doing evangelism.

Until next time,

Lynzie Lynn
