Hey folks who are following my blog and will be for the next 11 months.  I will try to do my best to keep up with posting blogs, but just a fair warning, this is my first time with a regular blog so it will be an adjustment to get used to.  I am a journeler, not a blogger.  But, I’m going to be a blogger for the next 11 months just for you all.

I want to go ahead and introduce you to a very special group of young women, my teammates.  Our team name is Isha, which means woman in Hebrew.  I encourage you to subscribe to their blogs because if I happen not to blog a week and you start to worry and want to find out what I did, you can read their blogs and stay updated. smiley
Also, I ask if you will continue to pray for me and these ladies specifically and the rest of G squad to meet our financial deadlines.  And who knows, you might feel led to donate and help them meet their funds. wink

So, here is the lineup and introduction of Team Isha…..

Batting first and the team leader, Miranda Brinsa!  She’s 22, fresh out of college, gifted artistically and chorographically, from Missouri and loves Disney princesses and star wars.  This girl has an amazing story to share – through her art and words.  She’s going to be a great leader and I’m excited to see what God will do through her in her leadership and as a woman of God.

Batting second and the bold one, Rachel Brumley!  She’s 24, college grad, also quit a job for the World Race, from Michigan, loves to sing and dance!  This girl certainly knows how to light a room up just by walking in.  She brightens it just by being her bold, fun spirit.  I am so anxious to get to know this girl.

Batting third and the prophetic one, Shawna Moffat!  She’s at a very cool age of 27, she’s an ER nurse, oh and she’s Canadian, and she loves to hear peoples’ stories.  Shawna was the first person I instantly clicked with at training camp and I’m so glad she’s on my team and I get to know her heart better.

Batting fourth and the creative one, Ellie Baker!  Funny story about Ellie: her blog was the first one I read before I applied for the Race to “investigate who I could potentially live with for the next year”, but I also should mention that she was the first one assigned to July 2012 route 2 so there was not much to “investigate.”  Also, my mom would love to look at Ellie’s blog and tell me ideas of “what Ellie is doing.”  Who knew God would place us on the same team?!  Anywho, this is another girl that has a story to tell!  She is so real, legit, she just got her teaching degree and she’s from Kansas.  She’s 23, loves the Lord with all her heart and I’m excited I get to be a witness to this girl’s spiritual gifts.

And lastly, but certainly not least, the spunky one, Rachel Schultz!  She’s 22, a newly registered nurse, from Illinois but went to IPFW on a cross-country/track scholarship.  An avid runner that loves to indulge in a little adventure.  She has such a compassionate soul for the Lord and she will be a HUGE aspect to team isha and I’m ready to get to know and learn from this girl because she has so much to offer.

And that’s my team! Go team Isha!  We should be together for at least the first 3-4 months!  Please pray for team Isha, the girls individually, myself and don’t forget to read and follow our blogs!  Also, there is an option where you can “adopt” us.  I mean, who doesn’t want to adopt 6 beautiful women and be their prayer warriors for the next year???
Peace & blessings! heart
