I have rediscovered my love for reading on the race! I don’t always choose to read when there is downtime, but somehow I have managed to read a ton of books over the past 8 months.
I wanted to share my reading list with you! Some are Christian non-fiction books that have been passed around our squad, a few are young adult fiction that were some of my favorites as an adolescent, and some are adult fiction by one of my favorite authors. I recommend any and all of these, in no particular order:
1. In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day- Mark Betterson
2. 12 Ways Your Phone is Changing You by Tony Reinke
3. The Gift Of Being Yourself by David G. Benner
4. Harvesting the Heart by Jodi Picoult
5. Invading Babylon by Bill Johnson & Lance Wallnau
6. Kingdom Journeys by Seth Barnes
7. Larger than Life by Jodi Picoult
8. Nineteen Minutes by Judi Picoult
9. The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster & Jules Feiffer
10. The Lipstick Gospel by Stephanie May Wilson
11. Ties That Bind, Ties That Break by Lensey Namioka
12. Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelsen
13. The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin
14. Where There’s Smoke by Jodi Picoult
15. For Women Only by Shaunti Feldhahn
16. God is Able by Priscilla Shirer
17. Jesus > Religion by Jefferson Bethke
And just because the books I’m currently reading are so good, I wanted to include them too:
1. Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud & Dr. John Townsend
2. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
Hopefully, I’ll have time over the next 3 months to squeeze in reading just a few more. I’ll update this list at the end, but until then…
HAPPY READING!
