this song never fails to sum up who I am inevitably and usually shows me how much I need Jesus and my Father.

Even as a “missionary” I feel inactive and ineffective. I still have to ask God to “teach me to be humble” and to “show me how to walk with Him upon the waves”. I still have to ask God, who is the ultimate provider, to give me a desire for Him, the God of the universe.
Father, please forgive me for not wanting to spend time with you.
Thank you God that you are patient. Thank you that you provide what you expect of us. Thank you God that you are King of Kings. Thank you for coming to my rescue.
