There are random moments that involve random people who become friends rather than acquaintances. Last week, Team Radiance had the opportunity to work with Eden Center and after we had finished our day we left the house and started up the street towards the bus. We happened to look to our left and see a man watering his garden. We said a quick hello and mentioned where we were from and intended to move on but ended up making a friend. He heard that we were walking to the bus stop to head back home and immediately called his daughter down to pile us in the car and take us back home which is about an 20 minute drive. As his daughter came down we all laughed together as we watched this man orchestrate getting us home and getting us taken care of. He immediately brought his wife out and we met her and after a few minutes of getting to know her she invited us over for lunch on that Friday. We were drove home that evening and returned on Friday. We went and enjoyed a great meal filled with different kinds of noodles, meats, soups, vegetables, and fruits. It was amazing to meet a random people through a simple hello and discovering a family who loves to serve.
