United
Acts 4 : 32 – 35
All the believers were united heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all. There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.
I have been praying that my team would be united and that we would find our roles and places in this unfamiliar environment. It seems to me, that when we are at our best when the environment is comfortable to us. I pray for the opposite, I pray for the other. I pray that we are united in all circumstances and that we, from here on out, only grow closer loving each other unconditionally so much so that we sell our land to take care of the other. That we would be Joseph from the tribe of Levi.
What would it look like if we treated our possessions/mere objects as if they were not our own? What would it look like if we treated them like objects or things rather than treasures? Not only would it change the way we act and think about materialism but it would change our outlook on other people including the way we loved them. To share everything we have with our brothers and sisters…
